  "ENCANTADOR ACQUIRE NEW HALCYON GENETICS

Encantador have acquired two new potential stud males at the recent Halcyon auction in Melbourne, the two males Halcyon Propulsion and Storm Signal are only 11 and 6 months old but currently exhibit the bright white, super fine, dense, high frequency, super lusterous, thin penciling staple that we are looking for at Encantador

Halcyon Propulsion was sired by a specially selected sire from Alianza-Huarapinya in Peru, and is showing all the characteristics of an advanced fleece type, lustre deep bold crimp and thin, free growing staples, the silky handle and evenness across the body have to be seen to be believed. To see this young macho strut across the paddock tells you he was born to be a sire.

The Dam Halcyon Properplan exhibits high density, high secondary to primary fibre ratio and low primary micron on a great frame.

Propulsions Micron 16.7

His Sire Halcyon Alianza Alloro (totally unrelated to any WA bloodlines) sold for $60,000

Halcyon Storm Signal (yet to be tested) was also sired by Halcyon Alianzia Alloro and the Dam is Halcyon Mallkini Miss, selected in Peru from what is believed to be the most technologically advanced Peruvian herd "Malkini". She has a very low primary micron and incredible handle.

The boys will arrive at Encantador early 2008 and should start working early 2009
