THE SUPREME TEAM - WARRIOR & B.G. CENTURION

No its not a case of seeing double, but the judges at this years National Alpaca Show in Canberra did seem to have trouble awarding the Supreme Championship to just the one animal, at one stage holding the purple sash around the top two animals.

What was even more remarkable about this, was that they were father and son, Jolimont Warrior and Blue Grass Centurion (right). But on the day only one animal can win with Centurion missing out on this occasion, (Centurion having taken out the previous years 2003 National Supreme) but this only goes to show the strength of the Warrior / Centurion line of genetics, and we anxiously await the next generation of Centurions offspring

Centurion still came home with plenty of silver, with National Champion Adult Male backing up his 2003 Champion Intermediate Male win. He also won the Champion 9-18 months skirted fleece and 1st Commercial Fleece - Fawn
